An asset recovery technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer in Chicago.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build software that promotes reuse and sustainability
  • Build backend services to facilitate web-based applications
  • Implement pragmatic solutions designing and implementing APIs

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
  • Proficient in working with data structures and algorithms
  • Extensive experience with RESTful APIs
  • Have extensive exposure to web-based backend application development
  • Have strong working knowledge of Linux
  • Experience with Kafka, NATs, and/or any other distributed streaming technologies
