Job Summary

A multi-faceted financial agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Banking Category Sourcing Consultant in Des Moines.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coaching & influencing leaders & teams to promote best practices in category management & achieve business results
• Developing sourcing initiative strategy according to the total cost of ownership model, internal data & market intelligence
• Collaborating with leaders to develop procurement requirements, direct & execute on all aspects of strategic sourcing

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 7+ years related experience required (sourcing, supply chain management, contract negation, or contract law, etc.)
• Experience in financial services, corporate banking and familiarity with banking category strongly preferred
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
• Aptitude for solving complex problems and challenging/influencing partners
