Job Summary
A web services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Big Data Architect.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering on-site technical engagements with partners and customers
- Understanding customer requirements, and generating consulting proposals
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience of IT platform implementation
- 5+ years’ experience of Big Data platform implementation
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Experience with analytic solutions applied to the Marketing or Risk needs of enterprises
- Deep understanding of Apache Hadoop 1/2 and the Hadoop ecosystem
