Job Summary

A biotechnology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Bioinformatics Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Lead new assay validation and pipeline integration
Monitor and troubleshoot deployed application
Work closely with project leads and fellow developers

Required Skills:

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Cancer Biology, or related field
5 years of professional bioinformatics software/pipeline development experience
Expertise in at least one scripting language (preferably Python)
Experience with NGS bioinformatics workflow including read QC
Experience with version control software such as Git/GitHub or similar
Demonstrated data analysis/visualization skills
