Job Summary
A risk management company has an open position for a Remote Senior Claims Specialist in Salina.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Receiving claim, confirms policy coverage and acknowledgement of the claim
- Establishing reserves and authorizes payments within reserving authority limits
- Coordinating early return-to-work efforts with the appropriate parties
Qualifications for this position include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assist team members to develop knowledge and understanding of claims practice
- Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office
- Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience and claim handling
