Job Summary

An IT and computer services company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Cloud Systems Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide design, documentation, implementation, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
  • Securing systems by establishing and enforcing policies
  • Representing the team well and effectively training and mentoring others

Required Skills:

  • 8-10 years of demonstrated on-the-job system administration experience in Linux
  • Ability to create scripts to automate tasks using Pearl, Python, Ruby, or similar
  • Demonstrated knowledge of containerization – Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern cloud environments
  • Experience running and maintaining a 24x7 Internet-oriented production environment
  • Solid networking knowledge
