Job Summary
A physician-owned company specializing in acute care management and staffing solutions is in need of a Remote Senior Counsel.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing legal advice and recommendations for initiatives and projects developed in response to client’s strategic objectives and business needs
- Taking ownership for the life cycle management and administration of contracts
- Assisting with contract strategy development and implementation, including new contract start up assistance and renewal of existing contracts.
Position Requirements Include:
- Cureent member in good standing with the California State Bar
- Juris Doctor degree and licensed attorney with at least 7 years of significant business law experience, including primary and independent responsibility for significant transactions
- Demosntrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into terms readily understood by members of the Board of Directors, senior management, and other personnel
- Ability to provide timely, practical, and expert legal advice and business counsel and ensuring compliance with legal requirements, minimizing enterprise ris
- Ability to perform detailed review of contracts provided by hospitals and other parties and draft new contracts or contract terms
