Job Summary

An electronic commerce company is seeking a Remote Senior Data Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build out a new data pipeline to consume data from multiple sources (MSSQL, Oracle, files, APIs, etc) into cloud storage and/or Snowflake databases
  • Ensure the data pipelines implement data privacy standards, perform well with documented data delivery SLAs, and meet all compliance standards

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Background with databases: Snowflake, Redshift, DW appliances (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum), Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
  • Azure, AWS, GCP knowledge
  • Experience in clusters: Spark, Hadoop, map/reduce, hive
  • ETL experience
