Job Summary
An e-commerce company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Design Systems Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Serve as an advocate for frontend and design standards, and craft how products are built
- Help codify the foundational components, styles and patterns
- Write backend code for tooling and running experiments
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Comfortable working with legacy code while working towards improving it
- An engineer with experience writing frontend code and deep knowledge of JavaScript
- Comfortable collaborating on product experiences across all of our platforms with other product teams across the company
- Believe that building simple, usable tools that work well together can empower engineers and designers to create better products
- Are mindful of the future and strive to create reliable, documented code
