Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior DevOps Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing cloud automation using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible and Jenkins
- Managing Remedy queue of incidents, changes and service requests
- Assisting with problem resolution for cloud management issues
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable experience
- At least 6+ years of progressive IT career experience, in Java Software Development and DevOps
- Prior hands-on experience in software development (not prior experience in infrastructure)
- Experience with introducing and using CI/CD methodologies and tools
- Understanding of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and container technologies
- Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Terraform
