A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior DevSecOps Security Engineer in Seattle.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishing the security role as the first hire on the newly formed DevSecOps team and build the capability
  • Performing threat modeling, design, and code reviews to assess security implications
  • Ensuring proper monitoring is implemented with dashboards and alert systems

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps / DevSecOps, security, or similar experience
  • Experience using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or other programming language knowledge for writing tools and utilities
  • Show curiosity through asking questions, digging into to new technologies, and always trying to grow
