Job Summary
A consumer robotics company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Embedded Robotics Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, implementing, documenting and testing robot software in C and C++ for the next generation of consumer robots
- Designing and implementing software that allows our robots to respond dynamically to their environment
- Collaborating and working with cross functional developmental teams
Position Requirements Include:
- BS or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics or equivalent
- Solid engineering background with hands-on experience building or programming robots or embedded systems
- At least 2+ years robotics experience
- 5+ years of CS/CE/Robotics experience
- Solid understanding and experience with design patterns, data structures and a variety of programming techniques
- Proficient understanding of computer systems including concurrent programming and operating systems
