Job Summary

A staffing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Financial Accountant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assisting with the monthly and quarterly close processes
• Reading contracts and assist with set-up of all new leases and validation of lease data and attributes
• Reviewing and documenting appropriate fixed asset purchases outlined in policies

Required Skills:

• BS/BA in Accounting and at least 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with large ERP system strong in Excel and PC skills
• Proficiency with U.S. GAAP
• Experience with heavy exposure to fixed asset and software capitalization
• Experience with lease accounting rules under ASC 842 Leases
