Job Summary

A technology company is seeking a Remote Senior Front End Software Engineer in Portland.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert in the area of front end engineering for IT
  • Define and build new front end experiences
  • Improve existing user experiences, provide new functionality

Position Requirements Include:

  • Fluent in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • 5 years of software development experience, shipping code at Internet scale
  • Have a working understanding of web accessibility
  • Worked in an Agile fashion, using Scrum, Kanban, or similar iterative delivery methodology
  • Understanding of client side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
