Job Summary

A game development company is in need of a Remote Senior Game Services Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Mentoring other engineers to increase their capabilities and productivity
  • Architecting, loading test, profiling, analyzing, and optimizing systems for high scalability
  • Designing, prototyping, implementing, and maintaining game services in high quality Java code

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 6+ years of experience building highly scalable online systems
  • 4+ years experience with Games-as-a-Service (GaaS) architectures
  • 4+ years of programming in Java, C#, or other compiled, garbage-collected language
  • Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL persistence solutions
  • Proficient at communicating with both technical and non-technical individuals
