Job Summary

An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior IBM Mainframe Systems Programmer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain the z/OS operating system, and related IBM and third-party software products
  • Contribute to policy level IT standards and guidelines regarding software installation
  • Improve system operations, and maximize system resource utilization

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting z/OS, CICS, DB2 and related products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and a desire to learn
  • Proficiency with at least three of the specialized skills below
