Job Summary

A full-service mutual insurance company has an open position for a Remote Senior Insurance Data Scientist II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Involving opportunities to choose the right model to and obtaining insights for the business use case
  • Working with our internal clients and function as the SME liaison for their area of business
  • Engaging with the business partners to frame “the right question to ask”

Required Skills:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in operations, statistics, engineering or related quantitative field
  • 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years in analytical modelling
  • Experience working directly with business partners to provide solutions to complex problems
  • Fluency with design and analysis of experiments (A/B testing) and adaptive sampling methods
  • Technical skills in modeling (AI/ML), R and/or Python), SQL, DataRobot, H2O driverless AI, Knime
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
