Job Summary
A pet healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Senior Intellectual Property Counsel Member.
Must be able to:
- Support R&D and the business with worldwide patent prosecution
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on various forms of IP agreements
- Advise on trademark clearance and usage
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) required, licensed in any US State
- Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
- Bachelor’s in Chemical, Biochemical or Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years relevant experience in a law firm or corporate setting
- Experience rafting and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO and international patent offices
- Patent searching, landscaping and competitive intelligence experience
