Job Summary

A healthcare information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior IT Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and developing the Content Management platform and applications with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Becoming a technical expert for the platform and a point of reference for the organization
  • Designing and developing the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the applications

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Excellent object-oriented design skills
  • Expert knowledge of Java 11 and Scala
  • Experience in working with ORM (Object Relational Model)
  • Experience with Full Text Search Technology - Solr or similar
  • Comfort with Postgres, query tuning/optimization and execution plan analysis
  • Deep experience with AWS, and build automation in the cloud (Terraform, CloudFormation)
