Job Summary
An IT company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior IT Performance Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Enable complex performance testing and monitoring of Aruba’s SD-WAN products
- Collaborate with Engineering to proactively troubleshoot performance related issues
- Automate and maintain methods to deploy new testbeds in various Cloud platforms for performance testing
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent job-related experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Linux OS, User-Space and Programming
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands on knowledge of profiling/debugging/network traffic generating tools
- Experience in automation using Python and using PyTest to write unit-tests for new processes
- Comfortable with tools and system administration using MySQL, Docker Swarm, Jenkins, etc
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, along with ability to communicate complex procedures
