Job Summary

A for-profit genealogy company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Java and Amazon Web Services Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading team in evaluation, adoption and governance of a unified monitoring solution
  • Becoming a domain expert and being a go to person for all aspects of monitoring
  • Developing solutions integrations with a team of engineers

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years experience in designing and implementing microservices via technologies
  • 3+ years experience in AWS Technologies, AWS observability tools like CloudWatch
  • 2+ years relational database (MySQL) experience
  • Strong AWS experience (CloudFormation)
  • 2+ years of experience in using and/or implementing observability tools such as NewRelic
