Job Summary
A software development firm with a platform that provides clients with tools for video creation and streaming is filling a position for a Remote Senior JavaScript Platform Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working closely with your teammates and cross-functional collaborators to build and deliver dynamic, engaging capabilities while maintaining a positive and collaborative remote work environment
- Mentoring and coaching junior engineers, and leading execution across the team
- Owning the quality and reliability of the backend services owned by your team, across a variety of technologies
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience with JavaScript/Typescript with Node.js services and client SDK libraries, utilizing domain-driven design principles
- WebRTC infrastructure and management experience
- Experience with Amazon Web Services infrastructure and deployments
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to build out the tools to expand our cloud operations and engineering pipelines to be more repeatable, automated, observable, and auditable
- Ability to work with our team of engineering leaders and product managers to identify dependencies and support feature deliverables across the product space
