Job Summary

A technology solutions company is in need of a Remote Senior Managed Services Mainframe System Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, enhancing, and supporting technical approaches
  • Providing database and server technology for DB2 and IMS to enhance transactions and analytics
  • Developing, testing and producing LPARs for System Z, z/OS, and other mainframe technologies

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Will require travel to company meetings at company offices and off-site client meetings/work
  • minimum of 5 years of IT engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • Experience with mainframe System Z and z/OS installations and configurations
  • Experience with database management including DB2 and IMS
  • Experience with various programming languages
