Job Summary

A software technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Object Storage Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and operate in a production environment
  • Troubleshoot server hardware issues
  • Automate common tasks, deploy with an IaaS model, utilize chef or similar

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 2-3 business related trips per year for group meetings
  • 5+ years of Minio expertise OR AWS S3 experience
  • Expertise with Linux engineering and administration for thousands of bare metal and virtual machines
  • 5+ years of experience working in a large scale production environment
  • Ability to write simple to moderately complex scripts and programs
  • Experience with Minio OR AWS S3
