Job Summary

A telecommunications company is seeking a Remote Senior Optical Systems Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Work with the optical system design process
  • Work on products that make remote and distributed work better

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • MS or PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in optics systems design and testing
  • Excellent command of optical physics fundamentals
  • Solid understanding of photodetectors and optical measurement techniques
  • Proficiency with optical simulation tools and techniques
  • Proficiency with Matlab and/or Python
