A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Senior Oracle MySQL Database Engineer in Norwalk.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing cost estimates for the new database systems
  • Designing and building new Database systems on-Prem and in Public Cloud
  • Complying with release management, change management and quality assurance standards

Qualifications Include:

  • 10+ year experience in overall Oracle database administration on Linux/Unix platforms
  • 3+ year experience in MySQL installation, administration, backup, DR, including MySQL Clusters
  • 8+ year experience with hands-on Oracle 11g/12c/19c on Linux/Unix platforms
  • 5+ year experience with Oracle 12c
  • 10+ year experience in production support, resolution of complex operational and performance issues
  • 8+ years with Oracle RAC, load balancing, failover, workload management capabilities, ASM
