Job Summary

A retail company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Platform Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Being a developer advocate and influencer for the platform
  • Engineering, extending, and supporting OpenShift platform, application, developer, and cluster services
  • Designing and engineering for Day 2 operations and observability as well as the initial Day 1feature

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Strong knowledge of Python, Golang, and Ansible
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and the Kubernetes ecosystem
  • Experience engineering and/or administrating OpenShift Container Platform & Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong knowledge building development practices like CI/CD, Test Automation and cloud deployments
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Passion for reliability engineering best practices
