Job Summary

A software technology company has an open position for a Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and enhancing GPU infrastructure for ARM, both kernel and user-space
  • Actively participating in the related upstream Linux communities
  • Sustaining this support through the life-cycle of the ARM devices and RHEL releases

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in C programming and Linux scripting tools
  • Knowledge of multiple chips, ideally Qualcomm
  • Excellent understanding of devices software stack and interaction with hardware layer in GPU architecture
  • Experience with backporting upstream code to Linux distributions, kernel configuration, building, and testing
  • Expertise in Mesa and Wayland/X.org
