Job Summary

An open-source software company has an open position for a Remote Senior Privacy and Security UI Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with people across teams to build and maintain comprehensive privacy & security products
  • Partner with UX designers to translate design specs and mock-ups into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that will be deployed in website front-ends and browser add-ons
  • Participate and influence the design process

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years experience turning designs into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
  • Fundamental knowledge of online security concepts and products
  • Effective English communication; ability to collaborate and conduct software engineering work in the open
  • Experience with at least one of the following: QT framework and QML Non-framework (vanilla) Javascript and CSS Prior experience building browser extensions/add ons
