Job Summary

A mortgage company has an open position for a Remote Senior Property Tax Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing, researching, and resolving issues related to property taxes
• Processing tax amount reporting for all states in a timely manner
• Running and reviewing reports to ensure all tax payments are made prior to established due dates

Position Requirements Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of state-specific property tax deadlines and agency requirements
• Strong working knowledge of overall mortgage lending processes and documents
• Strong working knowledge of state and federal debt collection laws, and the Federal Bankruptcy Law
• Demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with consumers
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
