Job Summary
An internet news and content sharing website is seeking a Remote Senior Revenue Accounting Manager .
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Driving strategy of revenue accounting, revenue automation projects, and develop accounting for new revenue streams
- Leading team through month-end close & reporting process for revenue & deferred revenue to ensure an accurate & timely revenue close
- Overseeing day-to-day activities of revenue accounting function, with focus on process improvements, automation & analysis
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 8+ years revenue accounting experience with direct experience in the advertising or digital media/entertainment space
- 4+ years of experience managing direct reports and leading teams
- A mixture of Big 4 and industry experience
- Experience presenting complex matters to senior management
- Strategic mindset and ability to work in ambiguous, challenging situations
- Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with large data volume
