Job Summary

A retail company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Search Engine Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design and implement web service API’s
  • Participate in an Agile work environment
  • Gain knowledge in Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, IT, or related
  • Hands on experience working on Solr based search engine
  • At least 5+ years experience with hands on software development
  • Experience with Search Relevance and Typeahead features
  • Experience working on enterprise search platforms e.g. Lucidworks Fusion platform
  • Solid understanding of object oriented principles
