Job Summary

A marketing services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Driving cloud infrastructure hosting design decisions based on cost and the product roadmap
  • Scaling and managing big data clusters to help build improved tooling and products
  • Helping with performance engineering across our stack

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • At least 7 years of experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting Python or Node.js
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps culture and practices
  • Experience with AWS (EMR, RDS, Lambda, S3), Presto, Datadog, Docker, and Jenkins
  • Superior communication skills and experience leading teams of engineers and representing them to the business
  • Direct experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, Slack ops, application performance measurement, and alerting systems
