Job Summary

A data science and analytics company has an open position for a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform incident triage
  • Identify, manage, and resolve time sensitive escalations
  • Optimize troubleshooting efforts through automation, alert monitoring, and creating executable runbooks

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years total experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer
  • Knowledge of ITSM fundamentals, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • 2-5 years of experience managing incidents, escalations, crisis management, risk management, etc
  • Experience utilizing modern observability and monitoring tools
  • Front and back-end scripting knowledge, such as Java, Shell, Python or Perl
