Job Summary

A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Back End Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions
  • Experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities
  • Utilizing programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js is ideal
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks is desired
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices is preferred
