Job Summary

A business software provider is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Focus on our Magento LAMP stack, adding new features and assisting with deployments
  • Architect and implement solutions for our premium site (SaaS), dashboard applications
  • Work with product and engineering teams during agile lifecycle to deliver feature sets

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • A degree in Computer Sciene or related field and Advanced knowledge of Magento eCommerce Platform
  • Must be confortable in ateam environment with Git familiarity, Jira for Story tracking
  • Advanced understanding of relational (MYSQL) and noSQL persistence layers
  • Understanding of distributed caching using Redis or Memcached,
  • Understanding of front end technologies such as CSS, SASS, HTML, JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, ElasticCache, RDS, SQS, Route 53, AMIs, VPCs, CloudFront, security
