A software company is in need of a Remote Senior Software Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and developing re-usable system software modules and libraries for parallel and distributed computing
  • Performing software engineering tasks
  • Writing technical documentation

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years of overall software engineering experience with a proven track record of excellence in performance
  • 3+ years as a software engineer or software developer in UNIX/Linux kernel, networking, or backend systems development
  • Strong experience with one of C/C++/Go(Golang)/Python programming languages
  • Hands-on experience with TCP/IP networking and UNIX/Linux socket programming
  • Familiar with GNU tools such as GCC and GDB
