Job Summary
A financial technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Software Engineer in Austin.
Must be able to:
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, internal testing sign off for deliverables
- Build high throughput event driven streaming data pipeline
- Translate product requirement into functional/business logic
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years' experience in development of large scale and distributed fault tolerant enterprise applications
- Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting
- Experience in developing and deploying a scalable system
- Experience with all aspects of big data systems including database design, ETL, and monitoring
- Experience following the Agile methodologies
- 3 plus years of designing backend and mid-tier services using Spring Boot, REST API, Java technologies
