A staffing agency is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer in New Hyde Park.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and testing current systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Analyzing and resolving complex problems associated with applications systems
- Detecting, diagnosing, and reporting related problems
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient experience with Python for a minimum of 6 years and Django for a minimum of 3 years
- Skilled in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Solid understanding of web technology and experience using or creating web-based REST APIs
- Experience working in an environment that requires coordination of efforts between Engineering, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Product Management
- Experienced with Agile development methodologies and working experience in agile teams and strong understanding of version control systems GitHub and Jenkins
