Job Summary

A software company is seeking a Remote Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Help design, configure, and deploy the technologies comprising the analytics pipeline
  • Improve the overall observability of the stack so performance degradations can be caught
  • Help diagnose and address performance issues relevant to query cache performance

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to visit headquarters in Cambridge, MA on a quarterly basis
  • 2+ years experience running software in AWS (or a comparable cloud)
  • Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Proficiency in 1 of Scala, Ruby, Elixir, or a language comparable to one of those
  • Ability to support both reactive incident response and proactive incident prevention
  • Comfort sharing the on-call rotation with your teammates
