Job Summary

A software development company specializing in customer service and engagement has an open position for a Remote Senior Staff Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Collaborate with different teams to build a new platform to unlock our data extensibility for our customers
Participate in technical discussions and communicate your ideas or vision to others
Be an advocate for not impacting the performance or quality of the existing product

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

At least 8-10 years of proven background in building, scaling and operating large backend infrastructures
Proficient with either Ruby, Java, or both
Proven experience in building object models, schema management, object record management, and/ or rule engine
An ability to review and understand an unfamiliar language would be preferred
Experience with Ruby is a plus
Experience with building RESTful API’s is a plus
