Job Summary
A software development company specializing in customer service and engagement has an open position for a Remote Senior Staff Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborate with different teams to build a new platform to unlock our data extensibility for our customers
- Participate in technical discussions and communicate your ideas or vision to others
- Be an advocate for not impacting the performance or quality of the existing product
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 8-10 years of proven background in building, scaling and operating large backend infrastructures
- Proficient with either Ruby, Java, or both
- Proven experience in building object models, schema management, object record management, and/ or rule engine
- An ability to review and understand an unfamiliar language would be preferred
- Experience with Ruby is a plus
- Experience with building RESTful API’s is a plus
