Job Summary
A global retailer of diamond and specialty jewelry has a current position open for a Remote Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst in Akron.
Must be able to:
- Strive to improve existing Sourcing processes and increase efficiencies
- Represent Signet with suppliers during sourcing events
- Lead, control, and influence vendor meetings and other interactions to company's benefit
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management/Research, Business, Integrated Business & Engineering, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience managing IT categories
- Primary lead on RFP development, vendor sourcing, bid response analytics and negotiations, solution recommendation, contract creation and negotiation
- Experience reviewing contract business terms and exceptions and formulate a response and negotiation strategy to gain resolution
- Knowledge of the legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements and contracts
- 3-5 years of experience managing IT projects
