Job Summary

A publishing company specializing in learning content and assessments is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior System Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing daily LMS operations, engaging with cross functional teams, managing continuous delivery of system patches, performing system upgrades, and delivering new LMS installations on servers within scheduled timelines
  • Conducting 3rd party integrations and testing
  • Maintaining technical documentation, and IT manuals

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent technology degree
  • 7+ years LMS administrator experience
  • Linux command line and server administration RHEL/Centos 7/8 servers
  • Moodle and Blackboard PHP, Bash, Python or Java coding experience a plus
  • PHP Composer MySQL Database experience and ability to write SQL reports
  • Experience with Apache Web Services GIT/Bitbucket Version Control JIRA/Confluence xDebug and other troubleshooting tools
