Job Summary

A staffing and consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Senior Tax Accountant in Columbus.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing Corporate, Partnership, and Individual tax returns
• Reviewing and advising client regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability
• Ensuring client complies with all taxing authority requirements and representing client before taxing authorities as needed

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must have CPA and/or EA designation
• 5+ Years of Small Business Tax Consulting/Preparation experience
• Must have experience preparing city tax returns or similar returns such as boroughs, townships, etc
• Thorough understanding of Accounting and Tax principles
