Job Summary

A planning and consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote Senior Tax Associate.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Communicating with clients to gather tax organizers and any missing information to complete tax prep
  • Helping clients clean up bookkeeping records to complete business tax returns
  • Preparing of individual income tax returns

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • EA or CPA or willing to work towards obtaining EA or CPA status
  • 2-3 years of experience preparing taxes at a CPA firm
  • 3-years of experience preparing individual (1040) federal and state tax returns
  • 3-years experience preparing business (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041) tax returns
  • Strong Excel skills with pivot table experience
