Job Summary

A computer software company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Technical Support Engineer in Austin.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Attempting to isolate, reproduce and resolve problems using available systems
  • Maintaining the customer incident tracking system
  • Participating in the creation of Knowledge Base articles

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BA or BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or related technical fields
  • 2+ years of software technical support and/or development, or other relevant experience
  • Operating systems skills: Windows (10, 2016), Linux (RedHat, CentOS), Unix
  • TCP/IP Networking skills
  • Familiarity with JIRA
  • CRM knowledge: Salesforce, Siebel, SAP etc
