A computer software company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Technical Support Engineer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Attempting to isolate, reproduce and resolve problems using available systems
- Maintaining the customer incident tracking system
- Participating in the creation of Knowledge Base articles
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA or BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or related technical fields
- 2+ years of software technical support and/or development, or other relevant experience
- Operating systems skills: Windows (10, 2016), Linux (RedHat, CentOS), Unix
- TCP/IP Networking skills
- Familiarity with JIRA
- CRM knowledge: Salesforce, Siebel, SAP etc
