Job Summary
A multi-faceted financial agency is in need of a Remote Senior Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting marketing goals by issuing life insurance coverage
- Supporting profitability goals by assessing the expected mortality/morbidity of individual life applicants
- Analyzing medical, non-medical, and financial information and classifying risk appropriately
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years of work experience
- 4+ years of individual life underwriting experience
- Participation in CLU education courses
- Maintain professional level of expertise recognized both within and outside the company
- Present a strong leadership example
- Ongoing progress towards FLMI, RHU and AALU designations
