Job Summary

A provider of business process outsourcing is seeking a Remote Senior Underwriter in Eden Prairie.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review application and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Approve, decline or rate the application within the established criteria, while utilizing clinical judgment
  • Assess risk of Long-Term Care using lifestyle, medical and cognitive information

Required Skills:

  • BA, BS, RN or equivalent insurance industry experience
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Minimum of 3 years, underwriting experience with a focus on LTC built on a life base and direct interaction with agents
  • Strong command of Medical Terminology
  • Typing speed of 50 WPM
