A news and media company is seeking a Remote Senior Web Platform Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Driving new features from end-to-end
  • Building the technical foundation for future features and experiences
  • Crafting a modern user experience for accessing content and communities

Qualifications Include:

  • 10+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant language
  • Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, Scala)
  • Ability to build on a platform that is highly available, low on latency, and at internet scale
  • Experience in Influencing the organizations on best practices in frontend development
  • Experience in leading UI redesign of a large-scale frontend Application
