Job Summary
A discount tool and equipment retail company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Workers Compensation Claims Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide direction and training to the Workers’ Compensation Coordinators on a regular basis
- Oversee a group of claims within a certain region to ensure proper handling
- Lead projects assigned by the Workers’ Compensation Manager
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of workers’ compensation concepts and practices
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic correspondence and file maintenance
- Understanding of reserve philosophy, and the ability to review and approve reserve requests
